Playground Safety Mat – The Grass Mat is a non-slip, elastic tangle that is 23mm thick, 1.0 metres wide, and 1.5 metres long. It is ideal for installation beneath play and health equipment and can also be used for hard-wearing paths over grass to prevent disintegration. The Grass Mat was designed to allow grass to grow through both large and small holes; this helps maintain that distinctive green feel in any area where youngsters play and have fun. The benefits of the safety mat grass mat are constantly put up against those of traditional play bark.

The establishment process is simple.
1. Use a rake to remove any stones or other objects from the area.
2. Mark off your first tangle of grass.
3. Secure set up with a fixing peg in each corner
4. Review stages 2 and 3 before you put the major tangle.
5. To secure the mats together, use the zip ties to go through each of the five spaces.
Stages 2, 3, 4, and 5 should be repeated until the entire zone is entangled.
